Waka Winter Classic… Just need you Feb 9th!
Attention GreenBand fans! The Wakarusa Music Festival will be traveling all over the country this winter. At every stop on the tour 4 or 5 bands will complete in a regional showcase. The winner of each contest as decided by the fans in attendance, will receive an invitation to play at Wakarusa 2012. We’ll be competing be in the Iowa contest at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines on Feb 9th!
The key part of that is, “fans in attendance”. It wouldn’t be any fun without you all anyway. Bring everything you’ve got! Bring the cat! How bout the pet fish? Kids… don’t bring them! They aren’t ready for this set yet. Mostly, bring YOU!

It’s On! GreenBand in the Recording Studio Right Now
So freaking excited about this next album. Love the feeling of these songs. David is warming up the washboard here as we all find our isolation nooks for the recording marathon over the next couple days. Swimming in a sea of cords and coffee cups, running hand dryers and rubbing sticks together to keep the studio above freezing.

Ragbrai in Grinnell, Iowa Thursday Night… Oh and Us Too!
Green Band in Grinnell Thursday July 28th! Who else???? Oh, how about 25,000 additional Ragbrai bikers and supporters! It’s gonna be wall to wall Spandex and I personally can’t frickin wait to see it!
On a personal note… a huge thank you to Richard Berman for bringing us back to Grinnel for this event. You da man! The heat has been intense in Iowa for this year’s Ragbrai. Come show your support and buy a biker a cold one!

Ankeny Unplugged, Wild Grizzlies, Bike, Sun, and Sushi
This weekend the Green Band had an amazing adventure up at Ankeny Unplugged. It was a music festival powered by bicycle.
